To make wine bottles store liquor better, the use of liquor bottle caps is essential. The bottle cap is an important part of our wine bottle packaging. According to different production processes, bottle caps are divided into two types: compression-molded caps and injection-molded caps.
1. Compression plastic cover:
(1) Prepare mixed raw materials. In strict accordance with customer needs and quality standards, select high-quality raw materials for production. Generally, the production material of liquor bottle caps is plastic. If users need to make metal or ceramic wine bottle caps, they should choose iron, aluminum, porcelain, mud, etc. as raw materials. Mix and save the main crafting ingredients and auxiliary ingredients.
(2) hot melt. The prepared raw materials are put into the barrel of the compressor and heated in the barrel to a semi-molten flow plastic state. At this time, the temperature in the barrel will reach about 200 degrees. The raw materials are melted and fully fused after heating. This is an important process. The temperature control of the hot melt will directly affect the product quality after production.
(3) And mold. The raw materials that have been fully heated and fused in the barrel are released quantitatively and extruded into the mold cavity. The upper and lower molds are closed to shape the product. The mold must be carefully made to ensure that the error of the product shape is minimized.
(4) Cooling and demoulding. Allow the heated product to cool sufficiently in the mold cavity. Do not cool down rapidly. Otherwise, it will affect the quality of the bottle cap. When the bottle cap is cooled, it can be removed from the mold. And do the final ring-cutting and padding workflow.
2. Injection cover:
The manufacturing process of the injection molded cap is roughly the same as that of the compression molded cap. The mixed material is put into the barrel of the injection molding machine, and after being melted at high temperature, it is injected into the mold cavity for cooling and shaping. Demould after completion, and cut the ring and pad.
Today, the commonly used production method in the market is compression molding caps. Compared with injection-molded caps, compression-molded caps can save raw materials and energy in the production process and have high precision and strong operability. For bottle cap manufacturers, this advantage is tantamount to reducing production costs, and this has also become the reason why compression plastic caps are selected by manufacturers as the mainstream production process for wine bottle caps.
